(Using A PadKeyboard With Jabo's DirectInput7 1.6)
I am using 2 wired controllers, an Xbox 360 and an Xbox One controller (both also work with Windows-I am running Win 10). THey are connected using a 7-port USB hub (got one at Walmart). I launched PJ64 and went into Options Configure Controller Plugin. For Controllers 1 & 2 I went into each tab and clicked both 'Plugged' and 'XInput' boxes. At the top of the Project64 game selection window, go to Options Configure Controller Plugin. Give it a minute to load, and a box should show up. Click on the buttons in the window and press the same buttons on your controller. Then right click project64 in your steam game list and press controller configuration, then press y on your controller and then goto templates and select the one you named. If you want to configure the controller yourself this image will help, because it shows what XInput buttons are mapped to the N64 ones. (Screenshot from N-Rage's default. Start up the Nintendo 64 emulator and click onto the 'Plug-in' option on the topline menu of the main window. Click 'Input Settings' to open the controller options. Step 3 Click the 'Devices' tab near the middle of the controller window. Select your Gamecube controller on your project64 on your PC. That’s all for this super simple step. Step 7: Configure control settings. Now, it’s time for you to set up your GameCube controller with Project64. Go to the top of the Project64 game selection window. Then click Options Configure Controller.
Keyboard and Game Pad Configurations are supported on Project64 via the Default Jabo Input.
Jabo's DirectInput7 1.6 has the Keyboard set for the input set as Default and are mapped to:
